Andrea and I recieved an email response from the German family…they said we could come! This means Andrea and I need to buy tickets, make sure our passports are all up to date and so many other things! I am excited and nervous 🙂 The family, the Heymanns (HAI-man), said that they might be on vacation part of the time, but we could stay at their house while they were gone. This kind of makes me feel weird, because it means we cannot use our German as much. But, the Lord works things out so well, so I will leave it in His hands. We would appreciate your praises and prayers for this. Praise the Lord!
To Germany!

It sounds like an exciting experience!
When are you going?
Good news! When and where are you going?
We will be going to Berlin, probably three weeks in May-early June.
This family is an unusual family because they have five children. Most Germans only have about two. We talked to a German missionary, who that the family was really cool. They seem to really love the Lord. I think the father is an elder in a church. It is amazing that God provided such a family to be willing to have us. I think even our German professor was surprised.
I recently learned that the first generation American Churchill married a woman who was also British but 7-10 generations prior, about 1200-1300, her family had come from Darmstadt Germany. I believe it is in Southern Germany.
Very interesting! It’s amazing that you can trace your lineage that far back, Uncle David!
