Back to School

by sejwa on January 15, 2006

I started classes again on the 9th. I have not been very motivated to . Fortunately, I haven’t had a heavy load yet, so I have been able to ease back into the college rythm and also spend time with friends. On Tuesday I played four hours of Settlers of Catan. Usually when the game begins to prolong people’s interest starts wilting, but I don’t think any of us noticed the lengthy duration of the game until the end, I guess because I was having so much fun. This past Saturday (tonight) my church had a progressive dinner for the college students. It was fun to get to know adults from the church better and also to spend time with the other students.

I am thankful that God has allowed me to spend time with friends from church and college this past week. I feel like during the school year I don’t get to do much of that, which is one of the reasons why I have not been very excited about returning to school this semester–especially after enjoying being with you all. I would appreciate prayer that I would be able to focus on and be motivated to do my studies, while also being able to continue developing good friendships here at Covenant College.
