Homemade lathe

by Gary on March 15, 2015

The other day I needed to sand the ends of some dowels, and I needed it to be done precisely. So I made this lathe, which worked very well.

And this is why I needed it. The dowels were larger than they were supposed to be. This was Phyllis’ Christmas present, which I just finished this week.

Very nice! I had the privilege of helping to push the button for about 30 seconds. It was cool!
