My Ministry at Third Millennium

by Gary on March 15, 2015

Here’s a link to a video I produced for a Third Millennium meeting last weekend.

Third Millennium is now entering what it calls Phase Three. The focus in this phase shifts from production of materials only (although most of them are still doing that and will be for a good while) to include helping people make good use of the materials. We have all seen that people can know their doctrine and still not be effective in God’s kingdom. Kingdom effectiveness requires more than just data transfer.

I like it, Dad! I like how you added the music. It is really cool, too, how you have the integration arrows going in both directions.

Would integration be like a fourth element to the triangle? Or is integration a part of the pink section that has to do with how things/people relate?

That’s a very good question, Audrey. It’s one that I’ve wrestled with. Sometimes I think it’s both. On the one hand, words and actions are brought together and influence each other through love. I made a short statement to that effect in the presentation. In this sense love is the integrator or relater of truth and obedience.

On the other hand, there seems to be an equal mutual influence among all three, which is the predominant position I took in the presentation.

As I listened to your presentation it seemed to me the Apostle Paul followed a pattern like this, bringing helpers with him who later went out on their own.

Well done. I like the acrostic. How was it received in Birmingham and by the CEO?

They received it well. On the other hand, I think the current org culture and structure are going to prove to be a challenge for implementation. People want to to it, but things seem to keep snapping back to the current paradigm.

I really liked the presentation–very clear, engaging, and very understandable.

Maybe IIIM leaders would be willing to have you model the model with them? Learn the model by doing it with you?
