Chronicles Of Narnia

One of the (few) advantages of living in the UK, is that some of the movies premiere here before the States. So…today we went off to see the opening of The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe. Janie and I and the boys went this morning (Drew, Lissa and Maria Larson will go tonight, since Lissa had to work today). In short, it was a great movie. They stayed as close to the book as was probably practical. The children were all tremendous actors. The scenery was breathtaking. The animations were so good, Bryce kept leaning over and asking, “how did they get the animals to do that?” There were a few one-liners that were added – but they were humorous and not too distracting. I think the only disappointment was that most of the evil creatures from the witch’s side looked like orks and other LOTR characters – rather than animals. But other than that…can’t wait for you all to get to go and see it!

I am encouraged by your report, not that a bad report would have kept me from seeing it. I know some folks that are going to the 12:01am showing tonight/tomorrow morning here is Chattanooga.
