I was supposed to leave Bogotá this morning at 9:30. When I got to the airport they kept postponing it. The latest postponement is 10 tonight. Will it be 10 or will they cancel the flight? I also have a headache with no place to get some ibuprofen. I have some but it’s in my bag, which Delta has.

Hope you were able to take off.
So apparently by 8 they knew they weren’t going to be able to take off, but they didn’t tell anyone until 11:30. So I just got back to the hotel for the third time today (actually the first time today, and twice yesterday). Got to my room at 1:30. They’ve given me the same room every time.
I had asked for my luggage which I had checked. As I was leaving the airport they said it would only take two hours to get there, as if that were a good thing. So if I’m able to get to sleep, they will wake me up with my luggage, which I was hoping to have before I went to sleep.
People were very angry tonight when they announced the flight was cancelled. there were families with small children who have been up since 5 Friday morning. Not fun!
We’re supposed to leave tomorrow morning at 11, but I’m pretty sure that’s just a guess on their part. I don’t know why they don’t just bring another plane and be done with it.
I’m so sorry this happened! I will pray you make it out today. I don’t understand why airlines are so insensitive about making people wait around!

I got home at 9:45 last night and slept for 12 hours.
