This last week we celebrated Stephanie’s birthday. We did a lot of school preparations in advance so that we could take a day off from school on her birthday. We had a wonderful day! After sleeping in, I got up and made Stephanie some cinnamon rolls that she really likes. We spent some time reading the Bible, we played all kinds of games (Blink, Mancala, Blokus, and Rook which we played a lot of). We also watched an episode of “I Love Lucy” (on Hulu) and later in the afternoon we went shopping for some lamps (though we didn’t find any worth purchasing). All in all, it was a wonderful day.
I am so very thankful for Stephanie, for the life the Lord has given her, and that He has given me the privilege of sharing in her life as her husband! One of the things I appreciate about Stephanie is that she can be so very spontaneous–she always makes life fun!
