Inheritance Book

by Audrey on November 12, 2011

Has anyone read the fourth book in the Inheritance Cycle, entitled Inheritance ? I haven’t yet, but I can’t wait to see how the cycle ends! I’m glad the book is green: now the trilogy is a nice set complementary colors: blue, red, yellow and green 😉

I thought the third one was black, not yellow? But no, I haven’t read it yet… you or Katie will have to tell me how it is!

Well, most of the third book is black, but the dragon is yellow 😀 I haven’t bought it yet. Maybe I’ll try and get it from a library soon…or borrow it from someone…

Must be a younger generation thing.

OK, I’m glad to be a part of the younger generation. Picked up the book Thursday this week because Katie confessed she wouldn’t let me touch her “signed by the author” copy. I’m about 40% into it and it won’t disappoint. You may recall Saphira always complains when she and Eragon are separated due to some necessity Eragon always gets into trouble, well Eragon’s skills may have improved but this habit of his didn’t. Now, about how Katie got her book signed, here is a little story. Katie and a friend had plans to meet Christopher Paolini in the Philadelphia Free Public Library for a book signing. When Katie’s friend couldn’t make it, whats a father to do? Of course I was glad to be the stand in. We got to the library and joined the line. There were people there from as far as Richmond Virginia both young and old. We couldn’t get a posed photograph but I did manage to get a couple of pics of Christopher signing Kate’s book. There’s more to the story but it is really Kate’s to tell. (PS. C. Paolini is one of Kate’s hero). Well, I need to go now, the next chapter is calling.
