This is a picture of the circle of our driveway. I don’t know how many times I have put good dirt with fertilizer and grass seed in the dirt circle. But nothing grows there. On the other hand, I have tried several times to kill (with sprays specially designed for the purpose) the grass growing in our stone driveway that surrounds the dirt circle. As you can see, the grass growing in the stone driveway is flourishing, while the cirlce that is supposed to be grassy is still dirt.

Gary:
I guess you need to cut the tree down and park in the circle.

It’s more work, but you might try going to a lower part of your lawn that doesn’t matter as much, and cut out sod and move it up to the circle. The lower section will probably re-grow faster!
You might want to fertilize the driveway and kill the circle. See if that works!
