Our power came back on just a few minutes ago, having lost it on Wednesday. I think the predicted week was shortened because of all the outside help we received from other states.
We have power and internet!

Woody and Sharon were here this weekend for Karis Brauer’s wedding so they helped Nathan put tarps on different places on his roof with our ladder. He will need all new shingles. Some of Nathan’s friends chopped up some of his fallen trees but the fallen willow tree is still next to the driveway. Woody and Sharon came over before they left to go back and Woody said Nathan was going to stay with some friends in St Elmo since he still doesn’t have power and he will be closer to work. He found out that his electrical box needs to be replaced as the wires were ripped from the house. Apparently someone from church will help him with that. They discovered that the roof of the porch was lifted somewhat, moving the pillars about six inches I think so there is some work to be done. It has been a crazy few days. We are thankful for the Lord’s goodness in so many ways.

Nathan, we prayed for you at the church last night. We will continue to pray for your needs to be met. We plan to come up for Audrey;s graduation. We have an extra power saw, if that will help. Let us know if we should bring it. Grandpa Tom.
