Hello everyone! Poppop brought it to my attention that we haven’t posted anything for awhile, sorry for not keeping in touch!!
I am still working at Olive Garden. I just had my year and a half review and have been given a raise as well as some new challenging responsibilities. I enjoy working there and have made some good friends. I work there full time but I also babysit quite a bit for people in our church. We have an abundance of under 2 year olds at our church and so I usually babysit 2-3 times a week. It’s a great way to get to know the mothers and I’ve made some good friends.
Drew is working two part time jobs at the minute. He serves at Olive Garden (yes, the same one) and also at a privately owned Italian restaurant right down the road from us. He enjoys both, though the private restaurant, Adriatico, has a much more expensive menu and he makes more money there. He starts back at school this fall and then only has the two semesters left, hooray! He’s had a long break and is excited to get back… except for the Hebrew and Greek exegesis!
We are still a part of City Church in downtown Orlando. We love the church and our City Group that meets weekly. City Church is a relatively new church plant, but they want to be a church planting church. Drew and I are continually praying about the opportunities that may arise from here.
Apart from that though, nothing else to report really. We are leaving our “hot season” and entering our “very hot season”, and you can’t go outside without being eating alive by mosquitoes. Thunderstorms are starting again which I’m excited about!
Well I’m sorry we have not been more vocal but know that I am constantly on here reading about everyone! So glad everyone made it safe through all those storms! Lots of love to everyone and thank you for your thoughts and prayers!

Glad things are going well. Thanks for the update.
Thanks for the update! So glad you have good friends around, and that you get to play with kids a few times per week 😀 I’ll be praying for direction as you think about City Church and what the church planting vision may lead to for ya’ll.
Thanks for the news. It’s good to hear what’s happening.
Thanks for the update. While I don’t post much myself, I enjoy reading the blog and catching up on what’s going on.
Thanks for your prompt post regarding your work, etc. You are in our prayers. We are going tomorrow to Lookout Mountain for Audrey’s graduation and do some work to help Nathan clean up after the storm and maybe get some terraces built, Grandpa Tom
I’m glad you have good friends there. I agree about thunderstorms. Love them!
Great to hear what is happening. Praying for the coming year.
