The Churchill’s have had a very busy summer! Here are some highlights.
1) Our house in Charlotte is sold. Last week was the closing. We were going back and forth a good deal this summer, so we are finally HERE in Franklin, TN.
2) We have been looking at lots of houses. We had an offer on a “short sale” house, and after a month, we didn’t get it. So we’re back looking again.
3) David loves his job! Yeah!
4) Janice has a job! She’s teaching full-time at Franklin Classical School this year. She’ll be teaching 5th & 6h grade history, 5th grade English, Math, and Latin, and 7th grade Latin and 8th grade Latin.
5) Janice took a week long Latin intensive class.
6) Janice taught a workshop at a teacher training seminar.
7) James has been working about 25 hours a week and preparing for his study abroad in China this fall. He leaves August 31.
8) Emily has been working at a barn in exchange for horseback riding lessons.
9) Emily attended training to do volunteer work at a therapeutic horsemanship place. She begins her volunteer work very soon.
10) Emily has been volunteering at Franklin Classical School one day a week, answering phones.
11) Linnea has had lots of friend time, visiting all she could with friends in Charlotte, and then reconnecting with friends here in Tennessee. She and Emily are spending the night in our old cul-de-sac right now.
Well, that’s all I can think of at the moment. Anyone can add anything else they think of…..

That pretty much about sums it up. We hope we can settle on a house soon.
We are praying that you will be lead to just the right house. It appears that you all will be very busy this next school term. Dad & Judy
So glad to here things are settled up in Charlotte. We will pray regarding all the changes in your lives as you settle in, in Franklin.
