Happy Birthday, Mommy! I agree with Dad and Aunt Janice. Also, I appreciate your creative touch; you have a knack for creating a lovely atmosphere by rearranging decorations and such.
It started snowing a little before Phyllis left for work. She got to Fairyland and realized it wasn’t going to be safe going down the mountain. So she turned around and found the way back was blocked for some reason. So she took one of the long ways around, the way with the least amount of hills. It took her an hour to get home and at one point she started to slide and spun around almost 360 degrees. But she didn’t go off the road and no one was coming at the time. So now she doesn’t have to work on her birthday.
Thanks for all the well wishes. It was an exciting ride home. When I couldn’t right the car(I was trying not to over correct but it wasn’t working) and knew I was probably going into the ditch I decided I would try the brakes even though I knew you aren’t supposed to but the car stopped right on the edge. It wasn’t a deep ditch but I knew I wouldn’t make it out without help if I went in. As soon as I was going in the right direction there was a car coming the other way. By the time I got home they were just closing the way off the mountain by our house (I did not go that way but shows how the roads were.) I was glad my family was praying. Thank you Lord.
Wow! But what an experience to have on your birthday! I’m glad you are ok. How much snow do you have? It started snowing about 5 p.m. here and at 7 we had about an inch.

We now have a little over two inches. Supposed to get up to three, but I think we may get more.
