My mom has been having flu-like symptoms the past two days and we are not sure if it is due to an antibiotic she is taking or if it is a virus. Please pray for her, as she is feeling quite terrible.

I took her to the doctor this morning, and the office was closed. So now we are at the Erlanger’s Urgent Care unit. Filling out papers and waiting to be seen.

The Dr. said she does not have the flu, but sinusitis with maybe an ear infection–even though she doesn’t have many of the typical symptoms associated with this. So now she takes a three-day antibiotic.
I hope she feels better soon! Will you get to go see Dad and Judy?
This morning Phyllis is still not better. To us it looks like what Audrey had in mid-April, and that was diagnosed as the (regular) flu. Audrey’s lasted 5 days, and today is Phyllis’ 4th day. So it looks like she’ll get better just in time to go back to work on Tuesday. Phyllis says that when she went to the see the doctor for a tick bite last Thursday, there was a man there who had chills. So maybe she got sick from going to see the doctor.
Unfortunately, this means we are going to miss our planned lunch with Dad and Judy 🙁

Thanks for your prayers. I was getting really bad chills every 12 hours and today although I still had chills at 7:30 AM it is now 10:30 PM and I haven’t had any chills. Yeah
Yeah! So now we have a “chill-less” Phyllis!
Well, not quite. Phyllis had chills and fever again this morning, although the chills were not as bad as before.
