In Tucson

by Gary on May 15, 2009

Here I am at the Tucson airport waiting for my flight home. Yesterday we drove down to Nogales–just across the Mexico border–for a meeting. The reason we went there is that some of the Mexicans who are on or associated with the MTW team here don’t have permission to enter the US. I think the meeting went fairly well and that I was able to be helpful. There are three hours difference between Tucson and Eastern time. Tucson is in Mountain time, so you’d think there would only be three hours differece, but this area doesn’t observe daylight savings time. The flight to Atlanta is about 3.5 hours. I won’t be home until late tonight.

Glad things seemed to go well. Did you hear about the guy who said that he would see a Black President only when pigs fly? Well, we elected one and… swine flu (flew).

Interesting occurrence, Uncle David…maybe someone came up with the name of the flu like that on purpose!
