Tuesday morning I woke up with a higher than normal temperature of 99.2, and abdominal pain. In the afternoon my temperature went up to 100.8. I went to the doctor this morning and she thinks it is strep throat. The test turned out negative, but she says it is 95% accurate, so the doctor thinks it is strep.
So, I have just been resting for these past two days, sleeping and reading “Johnny Tremain.” It is so nice not to have any deadlines or anything…I am free and it is so nice.

Flu, then strep? You must have been studying too hard. I think that it is not uncommon for students to get sick after the semester ends.
