This past weekend I went to Trout Lodge, a YMCA retreat center about two hours south of St. Louis. I went with a group from Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. The retreat was quite fun and relaxing. Three Chinese students from the physics department came, too. We went canoeing, went on a hayride under a beauteous starlit sky, sang worship songs around a camp fire, and some of us went on a 40-ft high alpine swing. Here are some pictures!

Very cool pictures. Did you go up on the swing?
Wow! What a beautiful place! It looks like you had fun. Are these Chinese students Christians?
I went up on the swing. The person in the fifth picture is me. I guess I should rotate it. The Chinese students are not Christian
Very picturesque. Sounds like fun. I have never heard of that lake. Is it near lake of the Ozarks? Looks like a lot of fun. I love the outdoors.
I’m glad you had a good time! It looks like a very nice place. You make a great cowboy, too…

Awesome! The swing and canoing look like particularly fun events. Were you refreshed through the retreat?
