I am not exactly sure what the connection is, but this picture reminded me of the verse in Galatians where Paul says, “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.”

Nicolaus Copernicus. He was Polish.

The water was very clear.

I thought the contrast between the protestors and the lion in the background was interesting.

Wow, that must have been an experience seeing those signs! It is like when Uncle Alan, Melissa, Andrea and I went to England and they had signs in front of the art museum we were coming out of saying, “Stop Bush”. It was quite an experience. I like the pictures…they are so neat.

Was the water cold?

The temperature of the water was pleasant; cool, but not shocking.

Actually, the protest was not very exciting. Nobody was shouting. Every once in a while somebody would honk their horn. I wonder how that helps anything.
