If you don’t have your own image software (like iPhoto for Mac or Picasa [picasa.google.com] for Windows), you can easily crop images before uploading online. Just view this movie and follow the instructions.
Another How-To movie I made (How to Resize Images) also includes the ability to crop, but only after you resize. When you crop after you resize you never know exactly how large or small your image is going to be. So I prefer to crop first, and then resize. One possibility would be to use this method to crop and then use the other method to resize. If that seems too complex, just use the other method (How to Resize) to resize and then crop.
