by Audrey on February 1, 2007

It snowed last night while we were sleeping. Then it began to sleet around 5-6 in the morning. The result: a snow day! No classes up at covenant! Hooray!!!!!!!!!!

I’m glad you guys got snow too! It looks beautiful. Audrey woke me up this morning with some snow on my face. I asked her where she got the ice from, and then I knew! Hooray!

There is a round-about way to upload pictures to a comment. First, upload them as usual to the corresponding post. Them make your comment and submit it. Then Edit your comment. This will give you more options. Insert the cursor where you want the picture. Then click on the “Tree” icon. Then type in the path to the picture. The path will be:
http://family.waldecker.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/current_year/current_month/name_of_file. Today you would substitute “current_year” with “2007” and “current_month” would be “02”. In the case of these pictures, one of the names was “sno1.jpg.

I went ahead and changed these so they show up in your comment. Great pictures! I think you got more snow than we did.

I do not have the opportunity to post pictures that often as I view from work and do not yet have a digital camera. I do however have an appropriate picture that I will try to post. If I cannot figure it out, I may send it to someone for assistance.

Nathan, I assume you are at work. Is there snow in Chattanooga?

That is funny, Nathan!

Yes, but it is down to just a dusting. Lots of slush.

All the pictures are white lovely…i mean, quite lovely!

Nathan, your picture isn’t so honest…that measuring tape is in centimeters (or else it’s a giant tape measure)! 😀

We got about 2 to 2 1/2 inches, then sleet/rain. So now its just slushy outside. Its supposed to do more sleeting tonight. Thanks for the picture help, Gary.

St. Louis got snow today, too! We got about an inch. We didn’t get a snow day, though…sigh. I threw a snowball this morning, but there is no one to play with 🙁 Oh well, I guess I don’t really have the time, anyway.

We did not get anymore snow and, in fact, it has warmed up and the roads are clear. It was fun while it lasted.
