very nice. How many people were at the ball? Did they teach you to ballroom dance?

They danced to rap “music” most of the time. James told me.

In the first picture is Heather Leonall (a junior at CDS), and on the bottom picture: left, Peyton (goes to a different school, and I actually don’t know him that well), and the middle is Madeline Sullivan (a junior at CDS, and also student body president.
It was fun, but no, they did not teach us how to ballroom dance. When I got home, my mom asked me if they played waltz music, etc., and I replied, “No, they pretty much played rap music the whole time.” So, I guess they consider that a “ball.” It shows you how much our society has changed: you all are perhaps too used to the Jane Austen type balls. Those don’t happen much anymore… But it was still fun.
