We had a great Christmas here in England. We flew in a friend from our California church who now lives in Barcelona (since she was going to be alone). And Drew was here, leaving the day after Christmas (known as Boxing Day here). We’ve played a lot of games, put together puzzles, went to see a movie (Happy Feet & Night at the Museum), played some basketball, and went out for Curry. Here are a few pictures from our week…

Looks like a lot of fun! That’s an amazing gingerbread house, too!
How did ya’ll like “night at the museum”? What did you think of happy feet?
I was just about to ask that same question, Micah!
I say, it surely looks and sounds like a nice Christmas. It is truly wonderful to see pictures, for I miss you all greatly!
Audrey
Thanks for the pictures and the updates. We sure miss you!
Interesting tribal headdress!
I miss you guys!!
The older kids saw Night at the Museum, so you’ll have to ask them. Happy Feet was surprisingly good. Lots of good music, good story line, and an affirmation for “out of the box thinkers” like myself! That’s a value that would rarely be affirmed in Europe and made me think that a movie like that would probably never be made here. However, it has been popular over here. Ahh, the Europeans, always vicariously living through our American brashness, vision and optimism.
Looks like a lot of fun. I wonder though, who won the game of Battleship?
Nathan,
Philip played the Axis. Melissa played GB, Janie Russia, and me the USA. We nearly took out Philip, but he survived (in typical fashion) and took over the world! I’ll try to post a picture of the final board.
