Bunde Part 3

I returned safely to the U.S. on July 9th, so thank you for your prayers. I think my trip went well. Now I am working on writing up the results of the research I did in England. I have a number of photos and video clips to show, so I’ll probably be posting those in the next few days. For this post, I’ll start with some photos from Bunde and the surrounding area. Most of the area seemed to be farmland. The large fields and the flat land reminded me a lot of Lemmon, SD.

There were a number of canals like this one in the picture. I imagine the muddy water must help fertilize the fields.

We biked to Nieuw Beerta, a small town in Holland not far from Bunde. This town is where Trientje lived.
