Housing in Athens

by Audrey on May 31, 2014

Hi ya’ll! I have been looking into housing in Athens for when I move there in the Fall for graduate school. I thought I’d share some pictures of the possible places. The main thing I need prayer for is a good roommate.

Northview Dr.

Carousel Village

And the basement apt of a Christian family:

They all look nice. The first one does look a little run down on the outside. Too bad the last one has a small kitchen. But I think you could make do with it.

Audrey said someone just moved out of the first one and the owners are painting inside and are going to replace the windows with energy efficient windows and put on new vinyl siding.

Outside doesn’t really matter when you’re renting. It’s the inside that counts. I’ll pray for a good roommate.

Maybe something else will try up. But of the two shown, the downstairs one seems better to me. Grandpa Tom

The family with the basement apartment offered a very good price (including bi-monthly babysitting) and so I accepted their offer. I have a place to live! Praise the Lord!

Great! An answer to prayer.
