Tomorrow Gary and I are going to a city about 8 hours by car from Bogota. It isn’t safe for us as foreigners to go by car so we are flying and going with another missionary couple(Joe and Becky Harrell) that knows the area. Gary and I will be doing a personality seminar for 2 churches that are there. We had suggested that no more than 18 attend but we found out there will be about 27. It is in someone’s house so we are hoping there is enough room for what we need to do.
We will be back on Monday, be here 6 days and than fly to Arequipa,Peru on March 23rd to see the apprentices that we were working with last fall. We will also be involved in a leadership assessment of them and others. We will be back on the 27th and jump right in to continue training 2 couples and help with the church plant. The church really needs some more Colombian musicians so you could pray about that.
One of the things we are excited about is a marriage ministry that the elder and his wife(Gerardo and Vilma) have been doing for many years. On March 21, Gary and I will start a 6 week session with a couple.
