Well, we had a whirlwind weekend saying goodbyes to various friends, getting some things done around the house and at least thinking about packing. We got to our shuttle with 4 minutes to spare. Security went quickly, had lunch and still had an hour to sit and gather our thoughts before our flight. Our flight went well and we actually arrived early but there was a plane at the gate so we had to wait on the plane which made us disembark at the regularly scheduled time. Customs went well also and 2 missionaries picked us up. It is central time here so by the time we laid our heads on our pillows it was 1 AM eastern time. We did sleep well and got up at 8:30 central. We are trying to formulate our day which includes getting blood drawn to be able to get our Colombian IDs, meeting with Nathaniel and Alicia where we will be house sitting and have dinner with another family.Thank you for all of your prayers. We still have to figure out phone stuff while we are here. You can communicate with us by email, Skype text or regular Skype. We can do regular text as well although we won’t have unlimited texting as we do at home. Gary has a magic jack number but I don’t know it right off hand.
Sorry, no pics yet.
Good trip to Colombia
