Phyllis and I are planning to get an apartment in Bogotá in order to be there for the ministry phase of the Apprenticeship Program. Until now I’ve been going down about once a month for a week to help the apprentices with the language and culture learning. But the ministry phase requires a greater presence. We hope to be there by September 15th.
Phyllis’ last day of work at the hospital is August 30th. We are working on the paperwork necessary to get a visa. Until now I’ve just used a tourist visa. But to rent an apartment, you need to have a visa that lasts a longer time.
So please pray for us as there is a lot of change going on right now. In addition, our support account needs a boost. It has gone down a lot because of all the travel I’ve been doing.

exciting! And Phyllis, I know the joy of this end in sight at the hospital! Praying that all the details will come together – and that God will give you peace and trust in the process.
Praying for all the details to work out and that the Lord would protect you from the evil one!
That’s awesome news!–though you’ll be missed here. I hope we get to see you before you go.
I’m glad the ministry there is progressing to this point. I’ve heard good things about what you are doing there. The missionaries seem to be excited about it.
Will be praying about the details. Hopefully we can get together Labor Day weekend.
We are praying for your move. We made known some of your needs last night at our prayer meeting. Now we will be asking for your immediate need of a visa. Dad & Judy
