CityChurch Bristol

I have been working for the past few months on the beginnings of a new church plant here in Bristol.  We have begun Sunday evening meetings as a core group, and we hope to begin regular Sunday worship services this fall (probably October).  We have settled on the name CityChurch Bristol, and we are operating under the guidance of the Acts 29 Network.  Acts 29 is a network of reformed, missional churches – not a denomination, but a network of support, encouragement and accountability.

I am hoping to quit working at Verizon the first of August and begin working full time with the church.  But I will need to raise some funds over the next 6 weeks to make that possible.  Please be in prayer for us as we attempt to make this transition.  If any of you would like to help with support – even if it’s just for the first 6-9 months until we get on our feet – there is a way to give listed on the web site.

Also pray that God would lead us to interested people as we attempt to build this core group – and for the time to connect with them.
