Greetings!
I’m asking you all to pray for David’s job situation. When he took this current job, we knew it would be fairly temporary because of all the travel involved. So David had applied for another job here in the Nashville area. He has an interview for that job tomorrow. Please pray that he would be able to get this job. This interview is with the recruiter, not the actual company, so there would be more steps.

The interview with the recruiter went well. Although, he is concerned that the client company might feel that I am overqualified. He said I would know by Friday if they would be calling me in for an initial interview.
I am praying that they will as I don’t feel like I’ll last long in this job.

Thanks for your prayers everyone. Unfortunately, I don’t believe the interview went well. The job and the culture were one of the best fits I’ve seen in a long time. But, they seemed somewhat disinterested in me. At this point, I may need to change careers, so I am thinking through how I would do that.
Sorry to hear it didn’t work out. I wonder why they scheduled an interview if they weren’t interested. I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts on changing careers.

I am not saying that it did not (for sure) work out. I suppose there is still a chance. But, my sense is that I am not what they are looking for. There are, in fact, reasons why a company would bring in someone in whom they are not interested. But, I won’t take the time to explain here. Not sure what else I would do, but I am just thinking that I am no longer a fit for my own profession.
