Trip to Colombia

by Gary on April 14, 2012

On Monday Phyllis and I will be going to Bogota. I going to give a workshop on Philosophy of Ministry, meet with a Colombian pastor who will be working with me on the Missionary Apprenticeship program, help the first apprentice to get started, and a few other things. I’ll be getting back the following Monday, and Phyllis will be coming back two days earlier. Thanks for your prayers.

What’s everyone else up to?

I’m excited for your trip! I’ll be praying for you.

Well, I’m up to work, and a lot of cleaning my car because I spilled about 3 cups of raw milk in my car and I’m having a hard time getting the smell out. Gardening, reading, cooking…

Have a great trip. Eww, Audrey! Will you have to take it somewhere to have it cleaned?

I came back last night since I have to work on Mon. Gary will be back on Mon night. Thank you for your prayers. It was good to be with friends we knew and meet new ones as well. Bogota is so much safer now than in the 90s and it was good to experience that. Bogota is a beautiful city, 8000 feet up. I had a small headache the first 2 days and I noticed that if I exerted too much energy my heart beat faster or I had to catch my breath more. There was really good discussion with the team which is encouraging.
