Skip-bo

by judyw on September 14, 2006

We had a good time at the Dillard House cabin. We also played dominos. Over all I guess the boys won more games of Skip-bo than the girls. It doesn’t usually turn out that way. I won (dad) won the lengthy domino tournament. We went to Highlands, Ga for lunch one day and the north on NC 64 to a water falls right next to the road. On Friday and Saturday morning the Dillard House had a free breakfast for all registered guests. It was excellent. This was our second visit to Dillard, Ga. The Lord willing we will probably go again. On October 5th we are leaving for our trip to PA and MD. We will spend Thursday nigh with Judy’s sister and brother- in-law. Then on Friday make it as far as we can towards Sharon & Woodys. We will get there either on Friday late or Saturday early. We will return to Baltimore, MD on the following Friday afternoon so we will be able to attend Shanon Johnson’s wedding on Saturday. We will plan to leave on Monday and hope to be home on Tuesday evening. Bible Study group meets on Wednesday and we need to be here for that. We are also picking up Philip in Abingdon, VA on December 12th and get him on the plane for England on the evening of the 13th. Dad & Judy

If you will be going through NC, maybe you could stop by for lunch or something?

Dad and Judy: If you can make it all the way don’t worry about how late it is, we’ll have a light on and be up. I’ve heard they opened a new wider Wilson Bridge (I-95 in Washington) so I don’t know if the rush hour is any better. There had been significant back ups during evening rush time.
Looking forward to your visit.
Woody & Sharon
