Baby Miller on the Way

by Kristen on December 15, 2011

Hi Everyone,
My water broke this morning a little before 6, but I am not yet in labor. I am seeing my midwife this morning at 10 to be evaluated. If I am not in labor after 24 hours from the time my water broke, I will likely have to have a c-section due to the risk of infection. This would be my second c-section(my first, Ginny, was a c-section). We really don’t want to have to go that route again, but, overall, we want a safe and healthy delivery. Adam is finishing up an exterior job in Cherry Hill today and should be home early to mid-afternoon. My parents are with me until then. We’re not making this information public at this time, so no facebook posts please. We wanted to let you know, though, so you could be praying for us. We’ll keep you updated.
Thanks!

Kristen

Rosemary Sharon arrived around 9 ish this evening. She’s just under 7lb. and beautiful. That’s the report I get from Adam. We haven’t seen her because the report was that arrival was not expected before midnight; and since Katie was there to take night duty with the little ones, we came home. Got the call announcing her arrival when we were about 3 miles from home. We’re so thankful that everyone is safe and healthy.
