Things here in Augusta are moving right along for Stephanie and me. School, as always, keeps us with things to do. Our regular routine is to get up in the morning, get ready for school; go to school; teach, grade, and prepare for the next day; come home from school and eat dinner and enjoy some time catching up with each other’s day; then more grading and more preparing with a break here and there to (go figure) “break” the monotony š ; then it’s off to bed to start the routine off again. It can be kind of grueling, but breaks seem to come at just the right time. We presently very much looking forward to Thanksgiving, since we have Wednesday through Friday off.Ā This break we plan to visit in Atlanta with Stephanie’s family, and then we will be up in Chattanooga to visit my family for Christmas. I’ll miss getting to see you all on Thanksgiving, but I’ll be happy knowing that you will all be having a wonderful time!
On another note, this month we were able to pay the last payment on my car, and just today I received the title for the car in the mail! Hurray! We now own my car outright! It’s a wonderful feeling. š I’m pretty close to the 100,000 mile mark, though, so it’s also due for some maintenance service. š But a serviced car is a reliable, dependable car that will last for years to come. I wonder if I can get my car to reach 1 million miles like this guy! Ā š
