Back in 1999, I entered into the National Marrow Donor Program. I received a letter today indicating I am a possible match for someone in need. They have given me a number to call if interested to gather additional information and answer my questions. I don’t know all the questions I should have though I know a few. Your prayer as I consider this would be appreciated.

I will pray. We have a friend from Franklin Classical School whose life was saved through bone marrow transplant.
We will pray that you make a right decision. Grandpa Tom
I’ll pray. Will it have any adverse effects to your health? How long would the process take?
Wow! I’ll pray about that.
Thank you all for the prayers. Audrey – those are some of the questions that I have as well. I think that the initial mailing went to a lot of people and through additional testing/medical screening, they will narrow down the pool of potential donors.
The Lord guide you in your thoughts and give you peace about what to decide!
Nathan, I don’t know a lot about this. I doubt there would be any ill effects to you–maybe some pain at the site and probably tiredness. I don’t know anyone who has given either so I hope you get the info you need. It is good to have all the details clear in such matters.
