The Good News: I have a near complete dissertation proposal and my request for an extension goes before the review board next week. In addition, my committee is now complete and assembled.
The Bad News: I only have a few months with my employer, so I won’t have access to complete the dissertation.
Wonder where God’s gonna move us next?

What?!? What happened?
My boss finally got her way and convinced her boss to agree to let me go. She never liked me. Quite unfortunate. It’s a really good company

I will pray that “somehow” you will be able to do your research. When is the earliest you could get IRB approval? Any way to speed that up?
We have already prayed for you in both of these areas. We must believe, as James says, God is in control of all events. Dad & Judy

My boss is making a lot of changes in my job and if I don’t decide to go full time I will be looking for a new job. I have to decide by next Tues.

You are definitely in our prayers. In regards to the dissertation and in regards to the future. I’m glad God is in control.

We will keep praying. It is always interesting to see how God even uses bad motives of people to our good. With regards to my job, Gary and I had just been talking about my working full time for a while until we start traveling more to LA as we needed to do some things to the house (we had mentioned a roof). It was only a few days later that I found out about the job change and now we have the rain. So I am accepting the full time work for now.
We pray that God will somehow use your situation to your good.
