I’ve completed my second day of teaching. The first day I wasn’t relaxed during the class period, but today I felt more comfortable. Many of the students seem to be quite motivated. They are asking good questions. In the middle of the 3-hr period we have a break, and even then some students will come and ask me questions about the lecture. I would have expected them to want to go outside and take a walk or something like that.
One item of prayer is that I haven’t been able to finish preparing for next week. I need to get in a rhythm or a groove so that I don’t spend so much time on some duties that I neglect other ones. Thank you so much for your prayers and support!

Yay! Glad to hear you’re feeling more at ease in the class, and that you have interested students. When you gave me two mini lectures, Seth, I enjoyed them!
Glad to hear it. Getting feedback in the form of questions is very helpful for contextualizing the teaching.
We are praying for you every day. Grandpa Tom
We took this picture at Washington University when Seth was just entering the program. He was pretending to teach physics. I imagine this is how he looks now that he is teaching for real 🙂

That’s wonderful to have motivated students. You’re in my prayers!
🙂 Love the picture! I’m glad you are more relaxed. I’ll pray for the rest.
Will continue to pray.
I have been and will be continuing to pray for you, Seth! May you rejoice in the work of your hands that is given to you!
