Hanging Rock State Park

by James on April 2, 2011

Last weekend I had the opportunity to get off campus for a little bit and visit Hanging Rock State Park, which is about 45 minutes north of Winston-Salem, not too far from the VA/NC border.  I went with a few people from Campus Crusade, an campus ministry.  We did a little hiking, but most of our time we spent rock-hoppin’ and rock climbing (much to my enjoyment!).  Here are some pictures from our day.

You can see some more pictures here too: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?fbid=1905089355723&id=1496451598&aid=112995

Despite the chilly 40-something degree weather, it was loads of fun!  I hope I can go back soon 🙂
