Miss Emily is a National Merit Scholar Finalist! Way to go Em!
Also, Emily was invited to a “Scholars of Excellence” weekend at Union University in Jackson, TN. It was this past Friday night and Saturday. There were 127 seniors invited to compete for scholarships. All invited students are guaranteed at least 1/2 tuition scholarship. The students had a day of interviews, both personal and group discussion. The university will award 2 or 3 full-ride scholarships for 4 years and the rest of the students will get either full tuition, 3/4 tuition, or half tuition for 4 years. Emily will find out her award around the 10th of March.
