Waldecker Coat of Arms

A number of years ago I ordered this Coat of Arms that was used by a Waldecker way back when. Here is some of the description that came with it:

1. Color red indicates military fortitude and magnanimity

2. Gold indicates Generosity and Elevation of Mind

3. The Crest: “A wolf signifies one who strives very hard and long to achieve his objective. It is an ancient and uncommon bearing.”

thanks for posting this, Gary! I can identify with the wolf! Our family always spends a longer time achieving a task that most…..like homework :).
