Churchill Update 9-18-2010

by Jannylynn on September 18, 2010

Hi everyone.

It looks like our home purchase is going to work out.  We close in three weeks, and plan to move in October 21. That’s when we have “Fall Break” (2 days off of school).  Combined with the weekend, and the fact that we don’t go to school on Monday, that gives us 5 days to settle in.  We decided not to do any painting yet, and I’ll work on it myself this summer. Three rooms have wallpaper that needs to come down. So anyway, we’re getting anxious to be finally settled and to get all of our “stuff” back, which has been in storage this whole time.

Our new house is a brick ranch with a bonus room over the garage. Its on 1 acre of land and its about 5 minutes from where we lived before. There is a salt water swimming pool, which I seem not to have a picture of, but I’ll see if I can find one.  Anyway, here are some other pictures.  Of course this is not our furniture.

It’s beautiful and quite Churchilly! I can’t wait to see it in person.

I’m not sure exactly what “Churchilly” is, Uncle David. I suppose what I mean by it is that I think you’ll all fit into the house well; that is, I think it suits ya’ll 😀

Ha, ha, my first reaction to the first picture is that the house is “Churchilly”, in the sense that it looks similar ( according to my finite memory ) to the other houses you’ve lived in the past several years. Maybe its the brick walls and wood floors. It looks bright and beautiful, and it looks like your front yard is a fun factory.

It looks like a good house for you. We will pray that all goes well with the moving in process. Dad & Judy
