I only have a few more days doing research here in Japan. My last day is May 31st. I can’t believe I’ve almost been here a month already. I feel like I just got here, and there is still a lot more Carlo and I have to do. We will have to continue the work by correspondence. You could pray that the rest of my time at RIKEN is productive.
On Sunday I am going to meet Hiromichi’s parents. Hiromichi is one of my classmates at WashU. Hiromichi had told me before I left that they would be willing to have me stay with them, so during my last week in Japan I will be staying with them, although for a few days I will be in Kyoto. I am excited
about this opportunity to live with a Japanese family. Please pray that I would be a light to them. This past Sunday I worshiped at a church that I think is not too far from where Hiromichi’s parents live, so I am considering inviting them to go to this church with me on Sunday June 6th. Thank you for your prayers. I often get frustrated with research, but God is helping me to have a good attitude and to be joyful.

Thanks for the update. Will pray.
Wow, I can hardly believe you’ve been there a month either! I am excited for you that you get to live with Hiromichi’s parents for a little bit. What will you be doing in Kyoto?
You are in my prayers!
Time has gone by quickly. Thanks for the update.
great to hear from you…hope you enjoy living with your friends parents…what a wonderful opportunity to really see how they live…
I’ll pray, too. That will be interesting to live with a Japanese family.
