Andrea and I started our new job today! We got a job up at the Tuck Shoppe (the little gift shop up at Covenant College and where the chapel used to be in the olden days 
). It was a nice first day! We get to work the cash register, restock, and conjure up slushies! It is a nice job. It is such an answer to prayer! Andrea will be working 3 days a week while I will be working 1 day a week. some weeks, however, andrea and I will have to work all week! How delightful! It is nice because Claudia Peters works there, and she is a very good friend of ours. The Peters were in Costa Rica when my parents were there in language school and we have been very good friends ever since. I am quite happy! Thank the Lord!

I concur. It was a good start to our job today. The people we work with are nice, and it’s a fun job (when you’re not waiting around for customers!).

I worked in the Tuck Shoppe my senior year at Covenant. I loved it also. It is fun to think of you guys working there. It was our first year of marriage and we lived at Johnson Scenic Courts..across the street from the college. Not sure what it is called now but the house is still there! Have a great summer.
