I finished all my exams yesterday! Now I only have one semester left to go. I am super, super, super-duper relieved and happy. I wonder if this feeling of relief and joy is a faint shadow of what it will be like when Jesus comes back and we’ll be relieved from the troubles of this world…
Done!!!!!!!

Congrats! I’m also done, and it’s so freeing! Now I can go read for fun! play piano! learn Icelandic! memorize the moons of Jupiter! rediscover my long-lost affinity for endangered insects of Australia! … or work.
Either way, I’m grateful for God’s faithfulness through this semester. Bring on summer!
Congratulations!
well done audrey!! a.janie
way to persevere!
Congratulations to you, too, James!
I was wondering, what would you compare the Icelandic language to?
I would compare the Icelandic language to homemade ice cream on a warm summer evening as the sun is going down… *sigh*. But if you mean linguistically, then Icelandic belongs to the North Germanic branch of the Indo-European language family, which means its closest relatives are Faroese and then Norwegian. It’s kind of like German but not as “harsh”-sounding, if that’s even an applicable term. Does that help?
Congratulations Audrey! I was praying for you.
Yes, James, that helps. I wish I could learn all languages…*sigh*
Congratulations! It IS such a freeing feeling, isn’t it!
