Snow Days

by Alan on February 18, 2010

Our kids just had their 13th (I think) snow day of the school year. They haven’t been in school since last Friday. Hopefully they will be back tomorrow. For the past week, it’s snowed almost constantly – maybe an inch a day, melting a bit during the day, coating the roads just enough during the night – never more than an inch on the ground. I think the school’s a bit paranoid about canceling – but then most of the public schools have been out as well. After a brief warm up this weekend, it’s supposed to be back to cold and snow next week! Oh for spring to come – soon!

13 snow days!!!!!!!!! I think we have had about 2 and a half snow days up at Covenant. Have you been able to get out of the house to other places?

There’s only been a few days where the snow kept us house-bound. Most days we can still get out – at least by afternoon.

Wow! And I am sick of this winter! I feel like I’m moving to the north pole by going back to Nashville.
