College, Spring 2010

by Audrey on January 7, 2010

This is my first semester senior year, for I graduate this coming December! I can hardly believe it.

This semester I am taking: Advanced German Grammar and Composition; Global Trends; Chorale; The Gospel of John; Rhetoric in the European Tradition; Christ in Culture. All these amount to 14 credits. I am working less in the Tuck Shoppe and so I feel freer this semester than last (even though I was taking 13 credits then). I am looking forward to my classes.

For those who are in school: What does your semester look like?

I am taking History of World Architecture; Intermediate Chinese II; Language, Indigeneity, and Globalization; Comparative Government and Politics; and Chinese Politics (17 credits total).

Sounds interesting! And quite busy. Do you like having lots of credits? I know some do, for it helps them to get things done if they are busy all the time.

I don’t particularly enjoy having lots of credits, but I have a lot of things I want to study (what’s new?), and since I’m studying abroad for a semester, I have to take a lot to fit it all in :). I could drop the comparative politics class if I wanted; but I’ll see how things go.
By the way, your Rhetoric in the European Tradition class sounds muy interesting; what’s it about (if you know yet)?

I am not quite sure what it is about yet, but I will try and remember to tell you when I figure it out 🙂 Where and when are you studying abroad?

So you are graduating soon, Lyrpa! What do you plan to do after college?
