It started snowing this afternoon – thought you might like to see some picts. It snowed 3″ in the first hour! I barely got home from work. Quite a trek up our hill – good thing I had 4 wheel drive! We’re supposed to get 5-10″.

We had three inches when I left work today too. None here at home. Pretty bad when I work in a different climate than I live.

I added a few more picts this morning. We ended up with 7″ – and they are calling for another 1-3″ this afternoon and tonight. It is beautiful – but the downside is that it was so heavy and wet, we lost power all night – for about 12 hours. Last evening we kept seeing the sky lit up like bright lightning, as transformers kept blowing all over the valley below us. It was quite a site.

Fortunately, the power was out mostly during the night – so we just went to bed. In the morning, we went out and played in the snow, hoping the power would come on in time for some hot chocolate. It sort of did – coming back on and going off again all through the afternoon.
