I heard from the school administrator today and she said:
The board felt that even though this position would be a self-funded one, the school is going through too much of a transition at this time to add the position of a chaplain.
Obviously, this is disappointing – but God is in control. Please continue to be in prayer for us.

Sorry to hear that news. I don’t see how they could not afford to have a chaplain.
Maybe the theological difference is something that is uppermost in their minds. And didn’t I hear you say that they are very legalistic and since you are not maybe you would not fit there anyway and be satisfied. You are still in our prayers. Dad & Judy
I doubt it was theological differences – though it may have been – since they never met with me to hear any of my views.
It seems like a lack of vision. We will keep praying. It was good to have all of you here.
