Awards

Brea & Bryce had their awards night this week for school. They both received some special awards. Brea received The Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship Award – only one of these is given out per school! The lady who presented it looked like she could have been one of the actual daughters of the revolution itself. Brea was so excited that she ran from her seat up on to the podium. This was quite an honor! She got a nice medal – a military looking kind of medal. Bryce also received an award: The Eaglet Award – best all around student in the 3rd grade. This is the highest honor the school gives out to each grade level – one to a boy and one to a girl. He received this nice plaque. Ironically, Bryce also won the art award for his class – go figure! Have they ever actually seen him color? And Brea was also on the Honors Society. Overall, it was a very fun night.

The same night, the boys played in a 7v7 football game. It’s no pads, just passing. It was against one of the larger public High Schools in the area. And our boys beat them!
