Now, it’s possible that I did not break my phone, but in all likelyhood, I did. You see, when I go to soccer practice I place my keys and my mobile phone (if I bring it) in a little pouch. Every now and then, I enjoy throwing that pouch in the air and catching it. Yesterday, I caught it, and then I did not catch it. When next I looked at my phone it would not turn on–or even charge the battery.
So, I feel foolish for doing something so careless. Obviosly, one of the consequences is that you cannot call me on my mobile phone (and I cannot call you) 🙁 until I find out whether it can be fixed or replaced. In any case, I’m still accessable through email (micah@waldecker.net or micah.waldecker@stonybrookschool.org) and I also have an extension here at the school: (631) 751-1800 x643. If you call, you’ll have to leave a message because I don’t have a phone in my apartment, but I’ll be checking the messages.
On a positive note, one of my cousins from my mom’s side of the family will be in Masapequa (about 45 minutes away) on Saturday with her husband and some of his family, so I’m planning to spend some of the day with them, which will be nice.
