I’m still working with the two ladies of my church that have a sewing business. Although I enjoy sewing, I don’t think I want to continue doing this as a career. I don’t know what I want to do next. Maybe work with art or animals somehow.
I’ve been house sitting since September 13th. The house I’m taking care of now has two chihuahuas. One of them was very cuddly from the start. The other one was frightened of me and mostly stayed behind a couch. The owners said she’d warm up to me eventually. After maybe three days she let me pet her for a little bit. It was only yesterday that she really warmed up to me, which was nice. Anyway, that is what is happening with me!

Thank you all! Uncle David, I might enjoy grooming pets, training pets, or perhaps rehabilitating abused animals.
Emily is also thinking she would like to do something with animals. One thing we are going to try is horse therapy. You can actually get a college degree in it. Basically it is therapy on horses for handicapped children. There are a couple of places around here that offer this and they take volunteers. Emily has signed up to volunteer. We just need to have her go to the training session.
That sounds cool! What a great opportunity for her!
I’ve looked into becoming a veterinary assistant. Apparently I can study to become one in as little as six months. I’m not sure yet if I want to do that or not.
Oh, I think Emily would do well with that. Andrea, I think pet training would be so cool! If you trained them, you would probably have to groom them!
